I personally find that an easier way is to make your peanut butter and jelly sandwich and THEN cut it out afterwards. You just get a really good seal along the edges when the bread is pushed together with the cutter

If you apply the PB n J to the center of one slice and then put the second slice on top and then CUT THEM TOGETHER they will seal together and save you a now I love you too AND IM OUT *slams countertop*
