I had a Chocolate Teacup Poodle. She lived 14 years and 8 months. She grew to be 4 1/2 pounds. I now have a white Teacup Poodle. I thought I was buying a Toy Poodle. She's one week shy of 9 months now. She weighs 4 pound and 2 ounces and is 8 inches from feet to the shoulder. She's taller than my Chocolate baby was but weighs less. These dogs are lovable, protective and love to play and cuddle. It's easy to teach them tricks because they're highly intelligent.

Please also remember a few things:

These teacup dogs (no matter the breed) are often bred with the main/only aim being the size. And generally not controlled since its not an official breed (meaning no screening for illnesses, no character checks etc). So its possible that its not a reputable breeder and you have no idea what you are getting. And yes, the health of the dog can be affected as well.

Please dont buy teacup dogs of any breed....

They are cute abd adorable but please as someone else said, these dogs suffer. their hearts pump too fast. You'd be lucky to not have it die of a literal heart attack.

Many people think normal-sized poodles are healthier than teacup poodles, because in the wild, dogs weight around 20 kilograms are more likely to fit the environment and have more chance to survive.Yet these people forget that pet dogs are living with human-beings and rely on the food people giving them, pet dogs must fit their owners not the wild environment.So I think teacup poodles will be recognized and accepted by most people.
