Do you want to travel to Europe? Maybe buy some real estate in Europe?
If you said yes, remember that NOT every city in Europe is like a visit to Paris with a supermodel. Sometimes, despite all the history and amazing architecture, some cities in Europe should be avoided. Europe is often considered the best continent to visit. But, not all cities should be on your itinerary.

In Poland, walking around in the cities at night only risks dying of boredom. And I love it.

Moved from Europe to Detroit. Grew up seeing young ladies walking alone in the streets at 1 AM and ended up in a place where you don’t stop the car at red light in the middle of the day.

After visiting Europe and living in Memphis my whole life, Europe doesn't scare me in the least bit.

"Now, this is a low number for the United States, but it's pretty high number for them." - this sentence made my day.

Living in Baltimore my entire life, these European cities are like a picnic 😅

CERN is in Geneva Switzerland, not in Grenoble. The Grenoble accelerator is part of a very good lab hosting a much smaller Synchroton. The European Synchrotron Radiation Facility- is working in a different fiels of physics. I worked at both institutions actually.

I’ve been to Birmingham many times (hell, I was there last weekend) and I’ve never felt anymore unsafe than anywhere I’ve been. The worst crime I’ve encountered was the train prices, but that applies to the whole country.

A video prepared by someone who has likely never been to Europe, nor visited any of these cities.

Minsk??? It's actually one of the safest and cleanest East European capitals.

I was in Marseille in 2022. It was a fabulous place to visit and we felt completely safe there.

Rotterdam in the Netherlands is becoming a nightmare, lots of explosions and gun violence. Last year an aspiring doctor killed his neighbour and her daughter because they had complained about his animal abuse and then shot and killed a professor at his medical school, terrorizing the students there. Many neigbourhoods are unsafe although several previously unsafe neigbourhoods have been gentrified, you get this weird mix of rich people in penthouses and poor people living in each other's vicinity. I wonder how long that can go well.

My sister-in-law initially arrived in Birmingham U.K. a few years ago when beginning a vacation to England and Scotland. She just about went back to the airport and returned to the U.S. before some friendly Britts, seeing the look on her face, said it was better elsewhere, and to continue on outside the city. She took their advice and was very happy with her trip overall, but this was the reaction of a woman who has experienced some pretty bad neighborhoods here in the U.S.

These are cities with high numbers of immigrants from Africa, Middle East and Pakistan. No coincidence

I wouldn’t describe anywhere in Europe as “dangerous”. Nowhere is like Rio, Joburg etc.

Minsk is not a dangerous place to visit at all. It's clean and calm. No free guns, no robberies, no homeless people. Locals are polite and friendly.

I flew from UK to Seattle and drove into B C Canada, at the first red light i stopped with the window down and the motorist next to me screamed " for chrissakes put your window up and lock your doors " only then did i notice a lot of shady looking people standing around at the junction and every junction after that. Ive never come across anything like that anywhere else in the world.

I'm retired Navy and my ship went to Naples Italy all the time. I loved that place and the restaurants there were outstanding.

I expected Malmø, Sweden to top this list, but it wasn't even mentioned. Gang violence and shootings are daily occurances there, and people are adviced to stay home when it's dark, and to avoid certain areas completely.

No mention of Barcelona! Pretty much everyone I've spoken to who has been to Barcelona has been robbed there.
