After much research, discovered (what I suspected all along) that Android Project is equal to Android Application Project. Now what we need is an updated video to teach us how to configure that screen!

The app maybe similar to something you have played, your job here, is to tap on the screen so that the bird doesn't hit anything.

I don't have an android tab in the preferences or a folder in the "create project" menu

@TheRandomMan20111 If you installed the sdk in its default location it should be in C:\Program Files (x86)\Android\android-sdk for 64-bit operating systems or C:\Program Files\Android\android-sdk for 32-bit operating systems, however another problem will arise because of the white space in the folder name "program files" or "program files (x86)" so i suggest using for 32-bit os or for 64-bit os.

to make a new project there is no "android project" in the new projects folder. there is only new "android application project" and when i try the emulator, it is a giant screen and i can't seem to be able to figure out how to resize it. i think eclipse updated from when these videos were made because eclipse added a ton of new stuff.

@vibol03 Correction, smart people can do it on any OS, normally windows for its convenience. people who use Linux models like Ubuntu and what not often just seem like they know what they are doing.

when you reopen eclipse the SDK option from eclipse itself will opt for a download and you download the SDK again through eclipse, if that doesn't work then idk that's what worked for me I had the same problem

I did what you said, but I haven't had an “android” tab, so I followed a guide on the android developer website, and downloaded the ADT Plugin
If you have the same problem, follow the guide over here:
google > Downloading the ADT Plugin > first link

I am using Windows 7 and I didn't find the Android project option on my list.

It is a hidden folder. Open up your personal folder (your name) > click on Organize in upper left > folder and search options > View > show hidden folders.
Then is will be in the AppData folder
