you ain't getting 128 tick unless they recode the whole game because the geniuses at Valve hard coded CS2 to run on 64 tick.

I'd like to mention that the whole map isnt rendered at once, therefore there wouldn't really be a performance boost from removing flower pots

The problema witn optimization is that community is comparing cs2 (2023) performance with csgo(2012) performance, when csgo is 11 years older. Its like comparing super mario bros (1985) performance with super mario 64 (1996) performance obviously the latest game will have worse performance in the same device than the oldest.
If we want cs2 looks current and similar to other 2023 games we need to sacrifice performance.
Community should compare cs2 performance with current games performance, like rainbow 6, elden ring, sea of thieves or the finals.
The minimum ram the finals need, is 12 gb and the minimum ram cs2 need is 8 gb. The gpu the games above need are gtx 600, 700, 800, 900 or 1000, that have 2 gb of vram and cs2 need a gpu with at least 1 gb. And the cpu the games above need are i5 4000, 6000 or 7000 and in the minimum specs of cs2 you can see that you need an i5 750 or something like that.
The only bad thing you can say about optimization is that cs2 could have a csgo-graphics mode.

I really agree with the first one. In csgo i could easily get 120 fps, with normal settings, now if i start a match the game crashes as soon as the match starts
