Exa 1b is even younger than fifty years. I also used it with a Super Takumar 50 1.8 exactly in same condition. They accompanied me in Thailand twice. I'm sure if i put a film in the Exa it will work exactly as in the past. Not bad for a 30 euros used camera bought in Berlin almost twenty years ago.

I love vintage glass. Modern lenses are very clinical. Very impressive, often boring. Throw a soviet or German lens from 50 years ago on a Sony A7x and the world just melts its way into your viewfinder.

I got passionate about and just bought a wirgin edixa (I only found a model D-L) mostly because of your Paris video... But I'm now super impressed by how bright (much brighter) the view is on the camera in this video (though maybe not as cute of a viewfinder!). I guess I need to get a 1.8 lens like you have on here!
