Graph Theory by Narsingh Deo: A fabulous book on graph theory

This is small introduction to the Dover edition of the fabulous graph theory book by Narsingh Deo. Though an old book it still relevant book and very inspiring and remains one of my favourite math text.

Really beautiful book. I have this one. I use graphs often in Markov process probability transition diagrams also. I tried to model a general election as a Markov Process. Then predict a steady state where a particular political party will poll at least 50% votes to come to power with a near perfect confidence.

Actually, I want a favour from you . I am kinda interested in statistics and it's applications and similar mathematical topics. During my leisure time, or in the gaps between my study/classes time ; I really want something to read which motivates me towards statistics and similar topics while not boring me at the same time ( you know long equations, which requires heavy pen work to understand ).
I am kind of a bookworm and was interested before in quantum mechanics, astrophysics stuff, so I bought some books by susskind, fridmen and stephen hawkings. That was fun and I really want the same energy while reading, so i request you to please suggest me some books which kind of entertain me while imparting knowledge at the same time.

Thanks for the very up, close and personal review of the time-honoured book by Deo. I remember this book because my CS friends during my undergrad days seemed to swear by Deo. Graph Theory is indeed a very fascinating and fluid subject, with applications in modelling very many phenomena in our everyday life . Nice to get your opinion on this revered book. Sir, If someone have very elementary proof of fermat, s last theorem, without using algebraic geometry, based only on field theory and principle of mathematical induction, will it be celebrated because Andrew wiles have proved it already . Does proof of open problem using elementary ideas have a good seperate space among mathematicians .
