Understanding the signs of fatty liver disease is so important, especially since it can be silent for so long. Switching to a clean diet of steak and eggs has helped me stay on track, but I’ve also added some liver-supporting supplements I discovered in Secret Supplements that turn you into a Superhuman. Milk thistle, in particular, has been great for keeping my liver healthy and supported.

Unless you do the work, you won't heal. Just do it. You'll feel like crap at first, but soldier on. When you get that first real boost of energy, excellent sleep, and mental clarity, you'll be pleasantly surprised. It's amazing!

CARNIVORE LIFE STYLE OF EATING SAVED MY LIFE. I’m on carnivore since the 29 of June 2024, having lost many, 15.1 kilos, but amount of energy and zero joint pain is unmatched. Also, I am hungry only when is around the time to my scheduled eating. I am so happy and confident that my ideal dreaming weight is closer and closer. I will never go back eating junk again.

Both you sir and Dr. Eric Berg both helped me in so many ways. I cut out all Processed Foods and tossed even my oatmeal, BBQ sauce, cereal into the garbage. Seed Oils no longer used. Refined Sugars and of course Alcohol were done. Even though before I found your sites, I only would drink once a week. Since Dec last year. Not one drop. Its Wholefoods Carnivore, Butcher Bacon Butcher Seafood, Grass fed Beef and Butter. I do eat a small amount of blue berries but keep it under 50mg like Dr Eric Berg suggests. I feel great and love working out. I dont do heavy weights I'm 56 I do light weights and take D3 K2 and Magnesium

Hi Dr Berry! I just wanted to let you know I just watched a Korean YouTube channel. His channel is “strange diet”. That is the literal translation. He was showing a blog you showed about gout. It was dubbed into Korean. You look great speaking Korean! Lol!😮 The blogger also has gout and was sharing this. I left a comment about how you have changed many lives with this lifestyle including me. I hope to see you in the near future on a Korean channel and with other countries as well. I was so happy I had to let you know! God bless you always for changing our lives. 🙏🏼♥️🤗

I was told by my doctor that I had fatty liver disease. My ALT and AST numbers were slightly elevated.
I also know that weight training can elevate those numbers. I am a bodybuilder, so I train hard daily. I don't eat crap food. Only clean. And I rarely drink alcohol.
I am in the process of finding a new doctor and will have new blood panels drawn shortly.

I am on my own no access to a GP I need to fix this alone. I need to help myself. Medical pratictoners have ignored, abused and failed me. I know I have FLD. Now I just have to sign into my membership stop being afraid and fix my health 😮

Where I live you don't need a doc for this, you jest order selected tests online and go to take them. My ALT/AST/GGTP etc were always high, 1.5-2 times the top of the range for no clear reason. After a month of keto all of them were perfectly in range for the first time in my life. Same goes for TG and others

I am sure I had fatty liver because the small symptoms became huge ones- losing hair (I had all my life great hair), a lot of dark spots, dry skin and need to scratch it specially my back, some depression, constant need to urinate (a lot at night), overweight around the stomach, constant need to eat sugary things (craving sugar), but the last one and the one that made me to take a 360 change was no energy at all (which is the opposite of me, for I have tons of energy).
I have been reducing sugar and carbs a lot, but because I am in a very stressful situation (personal business), I kept fruits- a Huge mistake.
I was not eating much, but I was having tons of sugary fruits- grapes/bananas/oranges.
I would also wake up in the middle of the night wanting to have something to eat like with sugar.
After that, I started the keto/some carnivore diet, lost a lot of weight, had my energy back and keep learning about the liver and the effect of certain food in the body.
I also started to read the book you recommended - Good calories, bad calories.
Thank you So Much for what you are doing👏👏👏👏

I've been on carnivore for the last almost 5 months. For the first 3 months I was on strict carnivore (only red meat, fish and eggs). I was never overweight (BMI close to 25), I'm into sports, very active, not drinking alcohol.
I did the blood work twice, in August and October. On both tests my ALT, GGT, and uric acid were elevated, which I've NEVER EVER had before. LDL was also elevated, but It was always slightly higher, but still not as high as it is now.
For the last two months I started eating some fermented diary products and some vegetables, but still not taking any carbs.
I lost about 10kgs, my body fat is about 10% now. My BMR is about 1850 kcal.
I'm also taking beef protein powder, cod liver oil, magnesium, vitamin C and creatine as an addition to my diet.
Generally, I feel great, full of energy, but hungry.
I will do the blood test again by the end of December again, to see if anything changed.
Do you have an explanation why my GGT and ALT levels were/are elevated? (August GGT=76, ALT=65; October GGT=107, ALT=72)
Thanks!

People have been eating carbs for centuries without problems but with the introduction of genetically modified foods we are all now trying to find an out strategy to avoid getting sick. I looked at the ingredients in supermarket bread…canola oil and other toxic stuff. I make my own bread and I can eat as much as I like however, one slice is enough to satisfy. I can’t say that about bought bread. Make good choices and check labels and please stop drinking sugary drinks unless it’s a nice cold beer on a stinking hot day lol 😂
