The best thing about these renovation projects is that they retain so much of the original architecture and blend it seamlessly with the new, so future generations will still be able to look upon these buildings and see how they originally appeared without sacrificing the utility and design of modern architecture.

I wish someone loved me as much as the B1M loves construction projects in London.

I walked around the area about 7 years ago maybe. It was really quiet, still under construction, and in my view a bit lifeless.
But I went back there a month or so ago and it's been completely transformed. A really awesome place to walk around.

I lived in England in the early-mid 1980's, wouldn't give king's Cross more time than it took to get out of the Station. Been back a few times but never back to the area. Coming over in August for a month, ten days in London and i think I will give King's Cross a Go! Great video as always!

US cities need revitalization like this.

This is impressive. London is truly evolving perhaps more than any other European city as there's so many building projects underway throughout the Greater London County.

Kings Cross and Nine Elms are 2 amazing success stories for London.

When visiting London in 2019 my hotel was located straight across the Pancras Station. One night we decided to do an evening walk in the close neigbourhood without any expectations. I was totally blown away when all of a sudden we found the beautifully lit mall and gasholders. It really is a special and inspiring place.

Love how they kept the beauty of old structures and bringing new life into the area! Always love going there from time to time. The river adds the country side feeling ♥️ however some of the building looks without a character or architectural significance. Google new building looks impressive!

It has been many years since I was in that area. The changes are incredible from the run down area I was glad to get out of, to somewhere that is a destination in its own right.

Wow, I can't believe my luck! I've just been there less then a month ago and I was amazed by how well the area looks and the great functionality that they gave to it. Another well presented great video! Good job!

I’ve lived near kings cross all my life and remember when I was a kid being told it was somewhere never to go at night. The transformation has been remarkable and is something for London to be proud of. As always thanks for your informative analysis!

Outstanding video. I remember King's Cross from the early 1980's. It was much different then. Glad to see it revitalized.

As a born and bred Islingtonian, who's now retired in Thailand, I find this transformation amazing. If I went there now I wouldn't know where I was, it all looks so different.

Very impressive. This is why the whole world still looks to England for good taste.

London sets a standard for modern transformation of historic cities. Keeping the historical side and blend in some modern aesthetic and functionality.
