Like most things we discuss on this channel, the faster you ride the more important they become. Cold tire pressure is one of those thingy's. It becomes important to faster street riders, and to track day riders who don't use tire warmers... yet.

The quickest way to get somewhere is from A-B
I'm always impressed with the way you do that in your videos, just precise pieces of information, clearly presented and easy to comprehend that gets us the audience through the learning curve, relearning curve, refresher the quickest!

Mistakes are great as long as we learn from the first one!

I just want to say thank you Dave Moss for all your information that you put out because it made my first track day very enjoyable because I relatively know how to set up my suspension and tire pressure thank you again Dave Moss you're awesome 😉

Sure, most tires are great. But down here in the South (I'm not familiar with roadways around the country) we have road surfaces that I'm quite certain ALL tires would suck when road surface is wet. We have this rocky asphalt that is a smooth slippery surface contact area when wet and all tires will lose traction. Just simply cannot make a good hard turn leaned over or the wheel will slide out from under. Terrifying and will def make you think twice, thrice, four times before leaning over or braking hard when the surface is even slightly wet. If like to see someone make a video about road surfaces, unless I just haven't seen it yet.
And perhaps that heavier rider gaining more traction could be a comprimise for the lighter riders gaining more speed.

For a 2017 FZ-10 Yamaha recommends 36 psi front and 42 psi rear. I ride aggressively on the street. I weigh 165 pounds with gear on. Currently running Michelin RS tires. Sag is correctly set for my weight.

Should I stick with Yamaha’s recommendation for cold tire pressure?

Saw your video on the 08 zx10r suspension the other day, I'm picking one up in a couple days. Do you have a recommendation for springs for 75kg rider with no gear ? I went to look at it the other day and the rear did feel undersprung and the front a little over sprung, sag didn't seem right
