Thank you for the great instructions for that hook, most other videos don't show where it goes.

The tricky part for us was placing that bottom plastic base properly because otherwise the battery will be wobbly. You saved our day! Thank you!

Thank you so much for this video! I bought a used Corolla and whoever put the battery in did it wrong. I was looking everywhere for the hole for the hold down rod! Please keep up the great work with your videos!👍

Thank you so very much. I have to dismantled the battery to fix the headlight and than I did not find the place where this rod be fixed. It took me one hour and finally I have to make some extension with thick wire to fix it. But after every ride, I have to make sure that the battery is not loose.
But thanks for your helpful video, now the rod is at its right place.
Youtube is an amazing 👍🙏❤️

Thanks man good video. My 03 Corolla is missing that J hook and mounting bracket so the battery basically just sits in there really loosely, only secured in place by the terminal cables and being propped up next to that rubber hose to the left of the battery. I was trying to find what might be missing from mine and I’ve found it now 👍🏼

Awesome video, did you ever have a problem getting the clamp connected to both sides? I have a Group 35 battery replacement for my 2004 Toyota Matrix and it doesn't clamp on both sides.
