The gloves are made from a chainmaille weave called dragonscale-maille. It's made from a series of chainmaille rings and specialized "dragon scales" that you see there. They can be bought in various sizes and colors. It's really fun! You can also make butterflies out of the dragonscale-maille too! I love it! It's the next weave that I want to learn to do. (For those looking for a hobby & are good with hand-eye coordination, I recommend chainmaille! There's all kinds of tutorials, but Aussie Maille here on YouTube is my favorite!)
