Karelian food is the Russian food you never heard of! Let me take you on a tour of Karelia in the northwest of Russia. We taste local food and ingredients so we can cook something delicious for my grandparents!

My grandparents from finland not too far from there. Lingonberries are the best in late summer. And Pirrakkas (as they say in Finland) are amazing. Usually only filled with potato or rice, topped with heaps of egg butter. Nice job!
