In case you didn’t catch it: They did NOT mention an offline tournament mode which is what most people would expect.

We need a WBC mode in the game. That's not difficult to create it because you have the majority of players already created.

My thing is why isn't all this rolled into the road to the show? It's part of the natural progression of a players career.

Hopefully in MLB 24, in rtts, they will incorporate the wbc. That would be awesome and give detail to our created players, instead of picking international, east, west or central. It would happen every 3 years. There can also be a wbc tournament mode, and all the teams will be playable in exhibition, franchise, and diamond dynasty.

You would think that with the WBC happening this year, they would incorporate a mode or tournament so you can play it. It only makes sense but we'll see if this is just DD. I don't play DD so I hope that these WBC tease is not exclusive to DD.

i could be wrong but i'm pretty sure the reason why there's no WBC in MLB the Show is b/c the company that owns Pro Yakyuu Spirits owns exclusive licensing rights

It will be cool to have WBC jerseys available in Franchise mode. When you go to create a new team & have the option to choose from all the team's WBC jerseys that are pre-installed in the game instead of having to create them 🔥

This is better than nothing but when you see other sport games they try to develop a full offline experience with multiple tournaments and game modes, example of this is Fifa, PES, 2K. They really hear their users' voice and bring what they want, and this is one of the reasons why I stopped buying this game and I'm pretty sure there many others players like me out there.

Santa Monica needs to do something because is obvious they're just trying to save as much money as possible and give us the same game each year with no major upgrades but new rosters. They could've taken advantage of the WBC hype to do something but they are limited to do what they do each year. AGAIN, this is why I'm not buying this game this year.
