What a fitting tribute to our brave men and women in uniform! As a veteran, I have been glued to the TV over these past 10-12 days. The scenes from the last days of American forces serving in Afghanistan, combined with all of the human suffering has just been overwhelming! Regardless of anyone's opinion, we have to remember that all of the Gold star families have paid the ultimate sacrifice--the loss of their loved ones. We need to honor their sacrifice and keep them in or prayers!

Thank you for giving these heroes recognition!! We are retired military now. My husband served this country as an F4 pilot off and on during the course of 20 years. He retired as a Lt. Colonel and also comes from a military family where his daddy was a Colonel that fought in WWII. Some of many military families pay the ultimate price and I thank God everyday that no one in our family had to. Thank you again, I was touched by your words and in tears!!
