I think the US should stay out of the global conflict for as long as possible, and until we are attacked on us soil.

I think the US holding out as long as possible during world War II made a difference which resulted in the success of the allied forces.

Let the b team wear them down and expose their strategies / weaknesses.
Then send in The A-Team.
The US will be fresh and stocked up on resources.
