Relatable, I remember my dad picking me up at lunch time and taking me to my aunts taquería, they had a table set up behind the kitchen where I could eat in peace. It was set up nicely with a table cloth and flowers. They would hook me up with whatever I wanted and when I was done eating my dad would drive me back to school.😂

As a white girl who went to school in Santa Fe Springs I couldn’t wait for lunch because my Hispanic friends for some unknown reason wanted to trade lunch with me. I would get the BEST chorizo and egg burritos. They seemed to like my PB & J. Funny how we always want what someone else has. I love MrChuy videos, I’m laughing all the time! They’re awesome.

I remember my Hispanic buddy in elementary was always offering whatever he didn’t finish at lunch 🤣 all I had was a ham sandwich and fruit and chips and he’d pull out like 2 burritos, tacos, and whole enchilada and I’d just be feaning like a rat waiting for him to not want something 🤣

Had to subscribe. You're off the chain hilarious. I married into a huge Mexican family (one of the best things in my life), and the way they used to rip on themselves and each other was priceless. And yes, they sure enjoy good food! My mother in law turned me on to napalitos...she used to make this pork/tomato/napales stew and we'd spoon it into homemade torts. Amazing.

LOL I'm Greek & my Yiayia would pack me SPANAKOPITA (spinach pie with feta cheese, green onions & dill - DELICIOUS), Avogolemono soup (chicken lemon orzo soup emulsified with egg), little lamb chunks, Greek bread, lemon garlic oregano potatoes & OMG the kids would make fun of me but I couldn't care less lol I knew what was good!!

In my breakdown during lunch we have this young Hispanic guy who's family is from Mexico he lived at home still but his mom always made him some killer food. Almost each day it'd be a torta sandwich or some meat rice and peppers. Throughout the day he'd always be sharing those Vero sucker lollipops too. Beats what I bought for lunch from the vending machine wheel of death.
