Very impressive. I have a 3600 but would not jump ship just yet. Can plop in a 5600X if they ever drop in price. However, the 11400f is a very good bang for the buck. BTW I have no brand loyalty. Just what is best for gaming at the right price.

Looks like Intel has a Winner with this CPU for the Mid Tier Market.. Average 10 - 15 FPS higher and cheaper..

i like people like you cuz they let us see the fps in a real gameplay rather than a graph

Happy to know that those who are still planning to build a new complete pc now has the option to go for intel build. I have the ryzen 5 3600 with b550 mobo and gtx1660 super build and these numbers are not enough to justify shifting to the blue team. I'm probably still good 2-3 years from now as long as I stick with 1080p display. Still, I'm happy to see this type of competition happening in the market.

Even tho I like AMD more this is impressive!
CPU market really impoved over the years and continues to do so.
I currently use R5 2600 and my bro uses i5-8400 and they are kinda similar and both have good and bad things about them.
Overall it doesn't matter what CPU you have as long as you are having fun!

Wow!! I have the 11400F with a rtx3060..Better than i initially thought..Good for the price perfomance ratio compared to other more expensive cpu's

it's surprising how intel with bigger nanometer somehow maintains to have lower cpu usage with lower temperature and high fps

Great tutorial. In the current conditions and prices, it was more profitable for me to buy Intel, but Ryzen is also doing a good job. Someone may say that my graphics card is already old, however, I have some years on my neck :P, work, home, duties so I have no time to be a professional player with great equipment but still in a laser duel in Quake3 I have strong skills :D I just bought this processor and would like to share my kit and the results I got.

3600 was good back in 2019 when the other option was a 6c6t 9th gen Intel.
Someone need to tell AMD that we're now in the second half of 2021.

I'm really glad you included the flight simulator because people just don't understand how much hungrier those games are. If you really want to test a computer put on a real flight simulator and see if you're even able to turn the graphics higher. DCS World really asks a lot of my machine

Who else remembers Intel making budget CPU's before ryzen? I didn't.

What a nice testing! Intel did a very good job with the i5 11400 !!

The i5 11400F looks like a really good CPU for my needs. Shame that it came too late for me for consider it. This is coming from someone who has a R5 3600. I will be doing a full overhauling upgrade so both Intel and AMD will have to work hard to convince me to buy their stuff!

good job in 1080p with a rtx 3080 in low/medium settings. but the difference will go to zero, if u use for 1080p lower card or 3080 in 4k ;) much more tdp for 11400f ;)

I own a Ryzen 5 3600, but I find this to be pretty impressive. Though it did take Intel roughly 2 years to finally surpass the 3600, but not by much. My suggestion is if you're wanting to build or upgrade a PC, I'd say still stick with AMD, just because they keep innovating more than Intel. Plus, AMD sticks with the same socket for longer periods of time (unlike Intel), which means you don't have to waste money upgrading your perfectly fine motherboard just to upgrade your CPU. My conclusion is: If you want longevity and upgradability, go with AMD. If you're wanting a cheaper and good performing system, and you don't care about upgrading motherboards every few years, then go with Intel. My opinion, yours may vary.
