Delta Airlines First Class Airbus A319: Flight Review [CC]

I flew Delta's Domestic First Class on their retrofitted Airbus A319 from New York JFK Airport to FLL Fort Lauderdale. I paid a $150 upgrade charge to upgrade from economy comfort to first class roundtrip. Since the first 2 bags fly free (up to a $160 value round trip) and free booze and a hot meal is included for morning flights (for a flight of at least 500 miles), it might be a better buy overall than just flying economy comfort!

Update: Sky Club lounge access is not available to Delta Domestic First Class passengers. I totally forgot that I have a Delta branded credit card and that access for me is complementary (derp!). It is only available to Delta One passengers on international flights or transcontinental US flights.

I've flown first class with Delta on several different occasions. It was always worth it! The seats are very posh and relaxing, you get your own personal flight attendant. I'll definitely do it again if I get the opportunity.

Hello Vic, two weeks ago my family and I flew First Class on Delta Airlines from JFK to MIA. We were denied access to the Delta skyclub lounge in T2 because, according to the desk agent 1) I wasn't flying internationally 2) I wasn't flying to the west coast. I was so upset because I paid for my fare with cash and points. Why do you think this happened? Either way I complained about it when I got the survey from Delta

this all depends what value is to you the person flying. idk if id need that much food and eating i can get under 30-40 bucks or less easy. i still get one snack on plane and ive gotten tvs before. its a great video and if that holds value to you as a flyer then awesome but for me that extra $150 saved goes a long way plus my fiance is a delta gold skymiles card holder so we get our first checked in bags for free and cheap skyclub if we wanted. check out the skymiles cards if you fly delta that may be good in the long run for you or others flying delta

It's pretty funny you have breakfast on a delta first class ticket on a mere 2hr flight, on United Airlines you get a little baggie of cheez itz & some wine.
