Just seeing this; I’ve seen the guys that replace the IMA battery and what they do is put the car in Drive while holding the brakes and increase the RPM to around 2-3K and then hold that for as long as it takes and you’ll see the IMA recharging along the way.

The fan in the back will also kick on, but that’s just the cycling procedure and should be good to go after that if the system is regenerating along the way.
