On a different note, I think this is one of the most overlooked technologies when talking about science fiction. A lot of people talk about powered suits or some sci-fi external limb/extra limb/extra feature, but nobody really talks about the interface for things like that to actually work. For example, Tony Stark can just extend his hand and use his repulsors or whatever weapon he wants, but he's obviously not pressing buttons or using voice command to do that. Same goes for any other Iron Man suit feature, including flight control or things like that. Compact and bulk-less interfaces like BCI is pretty essential if we want things like powered prosthetic limbs or using complex machines in a very compact manner
