Windows updates are essential for maintaining the security and integrity of your system. However, Sometimes buggy updates cause issues on your system. Such as recent Windows 11 KB5043076 crashes File Explorer and Taskbar for some users. Users report, encountering taskbar problems, and File Explorer has become unresponsive for some. In such cases, you can Uninstall problematic Windows updates to address or bypass this issue.

Uninstall windows update
If a specific Windows update introduces issues such as unresponsive File Explorer, frozen Taskbar, or malfunctioning Start menu, disrupting your computing experience.

In such cases uninstall the problematic Windows update from the settings - windows update - update history - uninstall updates option.

You may need to restart your device to complete the uninstallation.

Ensure that the problematic update has been successfully uninstalled by checking the update history again. If it's a security update (usually released on the second Tuesday of the month) it automatically downloads and installs again on your device. To prevent this, pause updates for 3 to 4 weeks until Microsoft comes with the latest one.

Remember to keep your system updated regularly to ensure optimal performance and security in the long run.
