I'm a university graduate and i feel like i am an impostor. I don't feel smarter or more accomplished. I just graduated as a form of procrastination because i had no clue what to do with my life. So i definitely consider that having a goal and working hard for it is faar more important than any degree you could get. ❤

Have you ever heard of the expression called "An Educated Fool" there are plenty of people like that, they have book sense but no common sense.

To the people who see this and think this is a sign. Don't drop out without any solid plan or a good reason. If you can't move a muscle every night is a good reason, but if your profs mean and you hate them it's not a good reason. I know collage isn't for everyone, but it is a safety net to look for job (probably not on some majors, though if you not go to collage yet, i recommend to major in something that will earn you money and minor in something you love)

Good for you and yes, school is not for everyone. You are doing good, Keep it up. I was looked down upon in the workplace for not having a degree a few years ago, I went on to achieve a masters degree which serves me no good cause now I am over qualified and cannot find a job.

Totally understand this, that's what happened to me too! I feel like it's kinda a social stigma to talk about this and that's why i usually don't say nothing, so thank you for bringing this up ^^ i respect you a lot ♡

I like what someone said in the comments, "college is not for everyone and that's okay." And I agree with them, but education is sooo important no matter what field you're going into. That's great that it worked out for you, but you need to know what's going on in the world around you and your education can help with that. I'm glad you're doing what you love, but I can't stress how important education and knowledge is

I’m a hs dropout but got my HSED, mainly dropped out for mental health reasons. I’m 22 and make 35k a year, I live with my parents who I get along great with so I really just am paying for my car and food. I also love my coworkers and we have the freedom to be ourselves in the workplace, unlike any career you’ll find while in college.

I'm in uni because i don't have dream and idk what I'm gonna do in my life. It is a privilege to go to uni and do degree but it will be more fun to actually have a dream and know what u going to be and chase your dream.

You aren't proud that you're a college dropout, you are proud that despite dropping out of college you found success in something you love doing.

If there is something I learned from my older sister is not to stress over a college degree. Girlie is a self made millionaire now.
I’m still going to college (first year starting in September) but the thought off dropping out someday to pursue something I like more doesn’t give me anxiety. And I am so grateful for that, I can live life without stressing out about things that aren’t worth me having anxiety over them.

Thanks for saying that you're proud of being a dropout. It makes me feel exponentially better about dropping out, I feel the same way, that a degree would never help me, and it wasn't what my life needed. But I never really felt alright about it until now. So thanks mate, thanks heaps.

Love how u recognise that college can be right for some people while explaining why it didn't fit your path. You don't bitterly demean the other path just because others may have judged your path. In doing so, you treat others the way you want to be treated. Awesome short!

As another Asian college dropout (the first in my family), I feel an extremely similar way! Thank you for saying this :)

Yea exactly college is not for everyone, our neighbor told us about her 3 sons she said none of them were good at school so they all dropped out of it and went to learn cooking to become chefs they 3 now own a really famous restaurant in my country and they all are happily married with kids now.

As a teen i love biology and science but my passion is to be a creator and influence the people around the world, i want to study doctorate but also be able to create content of things i love, weather it's gaming or anime or motivation
