This would have been the smart thing to do on The Jedi Council's part, unfortunately, their arrogance and hubris caused them to not take Qui Gon claims seriously, and that cost Qui Gon his life, whch in turn caused Dooku to turn to The Dark Side, as well as Anakin losing the one Jedi who could've preventated his fall.

Rip Maul, he'd get wrecked. Also, What if Revan wasn't found in stasis until the first year of the clone wars? That would mean that Revan in his prime would be alive and well, and Darth Vitiate's spirit would still be dormant since Revan didn't awake his spirit at Yavin.

So what if instead of Barris turning to the Dark Side and bombing the Jedi Temple, she instead rallied the people and her fellow Jedi to start a galaxy wide protest movement to end the Clone Wars by calling for the ousting of Palpatine and Dooku?

So maybe the ordeals with Clovis and the stress of his hidden marriage with Padme plus the war, would cause Anakin to distance himself from Padme, as Tiplee reassures him during this time, which leads to their relationship deepening, due to the two being friends since they were initiates.

These kind of things always play out the same. There are so many points in SW where you can say "if they just sent one more person" or "if Anakin had just been more honest" that all end pretty much the same way.

What if; Anakin never gave into his feelings for Padme (Pentre Patrol did his version), Aayla Secura was the chosen one and became Darth Talon, Shme Skywalker was adopted by the Tusken Raiders, Boba Fett saved his Tusken family, Count Dooku was a regular count for the CIS, Jabba the Hutt supported the Jedi at the Start of the Clone Wars, and finally, what if Sabine and Ezra fell in love?
