Perhaps they mean their antenna has a 420 square mile coverage which is just an 11 mile radius around a transmitter.

I always laugh when I read that an antenna especially an indoor antenna claims to receive TV signals from 420+ miles away. An sadly people believe it and buy it. Only radio signal can travel this far, signals like AM/SW/LW. The TV signal (those on VHF Low and some on VHF High) and FM signal can travel this far only during the summer, due to tropospheric layer induction but for a few minutes or few hours. And you need an outdoor antenna.

I show folks what I get for TV without cable $$ coverage they are amazed. When I had when enough paying through the nose I just couldn't believe what I got to view either.
I get more stations than I could ever watch. Some folks are just stuck on the nipple of Cable.
No such thing as cable? Back in the day. You get cable then they get you hooked on clear channel stuff a few more channels which you pay for, then Jack the rates up and up and your hard pressed to give it up even paying more $$. Cut the cord my friends save the bucks! Thanks A Man!

I don’t know how much good it would do, but I think people need to really consider getting on Amazons case for allowing products to make claims that are obviously beyond bogus such is the case with this product. I have never heard of any indoor, outdoor antenna that would be capable of receiving a TV station from this distance. you do well on a clear night to get radio stations with a good outdoor antenna from that far away, but I’ve never seen television signals from 420 miles away. back in the analog days, it wasn’t unheard of to get television stations from between 101 150 miles away, but you had to use A huge boom antenna with a rotor outside on the rooftop such as those that my relatives had at their farm when I was growing up. even more frustrating is the fact that not terribly long ago, yours truly was a third-party seller for Amazon and they had no trouble restricting my selling of common products such as DVDs and CDs because of concerns over fraudulent products. OK, if this is not a fraudulent product, what in the world is? I don’t know how much clout you might have with Amazon, but boy we have to collectively figure out what to do about this because this is not acceptable to allow these kinds of products to be sold there. Great work on your videos as usual. Now to watch the rest of your review to see just how trashy this thing really is.

I've been using RCA model ANT705E. Most of my installs have this antenna and I've compared many side to side. Even constructed one. Depending on where j am at. Even in fringe areas, I always check this one out. I live in Central Florida. Great videos.

When you said "420 miles range, definitely a weird number to choose from" I thought "yeah we know where that Number came from" and you put the leaf next to the 420 I lost it laughing

I have gone through about 10 outdoor antennas, and about 50 indoor antennas. This guy gives good information.
