This is great. An Idea for you. Please create more of these and break it down so we can practice individual defenses. Like throw the jab ten times where we practice slipping, then  other defenses and then all the other punches. Then later show this one where you put it all together and have to read which punch you are throwing. Thanks man, this is really a good drill.

Most of it comes from being able to recognize a hook and seeing enough of them that you know what it looks like. Your brain will register that a fist is not coming straight and you will see the shoulders turn. In addition to regular practice, visualizing yourself ducking and blocking hooks will help

One thing I tried when I got better at it I turned the speed to 1.25 to take it to the next level.

thanks JT.. this was actually alot closer to sparring than i first thought when i saw the title.. ofcourse distance is of no matter here, neither is any possible counterpunch effect.. but still it was very interesting, and i even caught myself get hit by your right straight ! keep em coming.. great channel, regards from switzerland
