I bought one of these a couple of years ago. It was a refurb and the only thing I changed was the SDD. I upgraded the NVMe 256 to a 1TB. I LOVE this computer!!! I bought it for when I travel, but it has replaced my 2012 MBP as my main machine when I'm not at home. I probably over work this little thing more than I should, but it does a great job keeping up. I highly recommend.

Bought one of these on eBay last week for $220 8GB 128SSD 11 inch and so far I'm enjoying it. I replaced a 2012 MacBook Pro and wanted to try something lighter. It is refurbished, but in really good condition (pretty much untouched) and as long as it lasts longs and performs well, I'm happy with it.

I have mine since late 2016 and has survived secondary school and university's dissertations and doing basic programming on R studios. It is surprising robust and has great longevity for its age. I don't game on it all it does are web browser based and microsoft based.

After a couple Macbooks (Macbook pro late 2011, Macbook air M1 and a Macbook air 2015 all 13 inch) i definitiv love the air 2015, and the 2015 air is in the year 2023 a good budget macbook thats not too old and i use mine more than my M1, bc u can get one in Germany for around 300€ and its have USB ports and magsafe.

Watching in 2023 on Macbook Air 2015 :D I also did update it to Sonoma 14.2.1 and works even faster even if it's not supported officially by Apple it works just fine

these tech reviewers are like "heres a really cheap sub $200 older model macbook and its ok but theres also this $600 computer from a couple years ago thats better" like bruh we know but we cant afford a newer model

Yeah I ordered one of these for $175 and I hope it’s a good deal. I’m not going to be doing anything intense. I have consoles for gaming. I think this will be a good deal compared to other laptops out now for $200

I just retired my 15" 2011 Macbook Pro running Mac OS Sierra (Can't update because of a hardware mod to bypass the dead GPU). It was starting to get too old and outdated to continue getting updates for the apps I use. I've replaced it with a 2017 Macbook Air that I picked up for $200. I'm very pleased that it can run Monterey natively and Ventura with a patch. I expect being able to get three or four years out of it with no issues. I like that the SSD and battery can be replaced pretty easily, too.

I bought mine back in 2015, when I went to college. I’m going to grad school this fall, and will still be using it! I changed the storage to 1TB and Apple will be changing the battery to a new one next week! It’s worth it in my opinion. I won’t be purchasing a new laptop until this one gives out on me.

I like the older Macbook Air because you can open it up and easily switch out batteries and SSDs
