Nice truck camper. I just bought the Soaring Eagle 6.5XL loaded and out the door for $23, 500--No wood in the Eagle, it's all Aluminum. It's great for weekends fishing at Toledo Bend. No squatting on the back of my F-150 4X4.😀

Sometimes I do the math on expensive rigs like this, $50k USD. AT $200 a night for a hotel, I could spend almost a full year in a hotel for the same cost. And get a free breakfast. 😂.

2:34 Please box in the front of the water tank so I don't damage anything using the storage, and protect those wires going off to the right. 4:09 Every lithium battery I've seen has holes in the terminals for 8mm bolts, so I'd rather have ring connectors than terminal clamps. Also I'd like a composting toilet option. Otherwise, great camper! Hopefully in a few years they'll start showing up on the used market in my price range and I'll be happy to do these mods myself. 🙂

Hi Evan. I'm looking at the BoatBuckle G2 ratcheting setup, and I know that the represent a significant cost savings over Torklift option. Is there anything in particular about the G2 ratcheting straps that make them better than the common ratcheting straps that we've all used for various projects over the years? Thanks.

I will stick with my current old Northern Light 6"10. thank you. I may have to rest it on a platform to fit in my truck since the camper is too low. but at only 790lb's i can drive all day with very little effect on my 1/2 ton! Sometimes newer is not always better ;)

My dad has a northern light. He was gonna give me that we had a falling note. It’s a 90s and apparently the moon is almost the same as now I’m really ticked off because these are awesome truck campers today. I’m working on my 30 foot RV the roof is rotten. Just junk.

My F150 XLT has a payload of 1927 lbs, and this camper is too heavy for me. Most half tons I've looked at have less payload, I read the average is around 1420 although I don't know if that's correct. Lance was touting the 650 as a 1/2 ton truck camper, it has a dry weight of 1813 lbs. Not sure what these cats are smoking, but if they want to sell something that's usable by most people with their current 1/2 ton trucks they need to get the weight down around 850 lbs. That said, this is a nice unit and thanks for the video.
