I use the moving blankets in my garage when working under my vehicles. Helps keep from getting all dusty and provides a little comfort from the cold, hard floor. Also outside in the driveway.

I keep a moving blanket on the floorboard of the back seat of my truck. Protects my truck carpet, and if I need to get out on hot asphalt, or lay in dirt to change a tire or fix the truck on the side of the road.

Breaker bar, drill bits are pretty choice for the price, zip ties, floor jacks and most of their specialty automotive tools.

Ammo cans are good at Harbor Freight too. Both their plastic and metal .30 and .50 caliber ammo cans are just as good as my others and I own a lot. You just have to check the seals but that's any ammo can you buy. Make sure the seals are good and the lid closes properly. They run sales on their .30 cal plastic ammo can for $3.99 and I've picked up their .50 metal ammo cans as cheap as $10.49 which is a steal.

Edit: you can use ammo cans to store food, electronics, sensitive items and such if you live in hurricane areas or areas that flood. The plastic won't be air tight but the metal ones I've tested and their good to go. Harbor Freight's pelican knock offs work well too. Just wanted to say you don't have use ammo cans for just ammo.

Good tip on the moving blankets. When we moved back in 2014 we had UHaul drop off containers at the house for us to load up, and moving blankets are one of the things they throw in the box for people to use and return. The rental place said if we didn't return the moving blankets then it would be $3 each to replace them. I still have a bunch of those in storage, protecting stuff we didn't have room to unpack. :)

The Daytona floor jacks are fantastic. Icon torque wrenches are great… I have three. I don’t care for their Pittsburgh product line at all but most of the Icon products are outstanding.

They have decent quality tarps at good prices too.

Haha the moving blankets are great.
I was getting my house out of state ready for market a few years ago, and all week it was in the 90s as we did the roof.
One of the last nights there I woke up at 3am and it was 47 degrees out and we had all the windows open!
Of course we only had warm weather clothes, so it was nice to grab a moving blanket for some warmth 😬

depends on what you mean by consumables. I would not buy bits, blades, brads or staples. I would not sandpaper or latex or rubber gloves.

small files, bushes, punches and stuff like that is ok.

big chunks of metal are good too, im not gonna spend 280 on a 2 foot long ajustable wrench when it can be had at the ol HF for 20$

The yellow fiberglass fish rods are a good deal. 30 feet when you use the total tube.

I love the moving blankets. I use them all the time to toss on the ground to work on stuff.

What about the paint sprayers? Has anyone bought them? Thoughts?

Harbor freight regularly gets a lot of hate but I like them
I think it’s disappointing they are moving more away from their cheap stuff and more towards their more expensive brands as that’s not why I go there
And I think they have a serious theft problem and lack of prosecution problem
But I still support them

That toe kick saw is dangerous even when it's well built.. The one at Harbor freight is just asking to lose some body parts.
