i had been use this way but i can't format ext2 yet. my phone is honor 8xmax are-al00 .can you give any other way to do?

Just when I had finished setting up my phone. I went into TWRP to do a backup of the phone. But when I swipe to backup it would say error- failed to mount data (unknown arguments) and the internal storage showed 0mb. I followed your tutorial wipe> advanced wipe and change the data partition to ext2 and then change it back to ext4, this seemed like it did the trick as the internal storage now showed all the megabytes. I did a backup and then tried to reboot into the system but it kept booting back into TWRP. This is where I am stuck. I have a feeling that I shouldn't have changed the data partition and that I will have to reinstall Pixel Experience. Could you please tell me is there a way I can boot back into the system or have I screwed it up and need to start from scratch?
But any help on this would be super appreciated.
