Those who may remember from the show, Flower, the longest living Meerkat Matriarch, killed one of these Cobras that entered the pups den. She paid with her life. One of the bravest acts of sacrifice I have ever seen in nature.

I don't believe that cobra wanted any part of a gang of these guys. they are SO quick! Cobras typically hunt much smaller animals this is purely defensive on the snake's part. He probably was out on the hunt and ran into these guy's territory. yeah the cobra needs to move on here & it knows it. they ARE very graceful though, aren't they?

Meerkats are a type of mongoose, they’re somewhat immune to venom and will gladly have a cobra for dinner.
