When the player makes a dummy run does the free kick direction remain the same as the first player?

Playing offline with my opponent, he immediately switches to Goal keeper controls, brings Goal keeper to middle or predictable kick direction which makes it harder.This tutorial will still be helpful in some ways.Thanks.

Im struggling, i don't know when to press, fallback or allow my teammate to press. Covering passing lanes is even a struggle at times. I feel like I over complicate it which results in me conceding.
