I had this revelation the other day. I had this exact same feeling. I have been asking the Lord over and over for years what He wants me to do. And I just was sitting there and i thought to myself you spoiled brat. Children are dying. Working in mines. And it just hit me. Read Matthew. The sheep’s and the goats. I feel like the Lord just said. Just do something. Help orphans. Help widows. Visit people in jail. Just do something.

And I feel like it’s time.

So now my prayer isn’t what is your will for me?. It’s I am willing and ready help me find the right people the right place to get to work.

I can’t believe it. Yesterday I was wondering the same thing. What do you want me to do Lord? What is my calling? And today I see this. Amazing. Absolutely clear. God is Wonderfull.

I grew up in an environment where it was taught in Christianity that being poor for Jesus was spiritual, and having money was evil. I have learned through my walk that you can do far more for God with resources than not. Being well off is a blessing from God, but not one to be squandered with greed and selfishness. The goal of a Christian should be to pursue means to bless the Kingdom of God. Just like Joseph of Arimethea gave his tomb and expensive grave garments to Christ, or the man who gave his donkey for Christ to ride in on. Or the man to give the upper room to the disciples for the last supper. Imagine what you can do for God and your brother with means. But I am NOT talking about preachers flying everywhere in private jets and Rolls Royce's wearing Gucci.

Jesus told me "Help those who cannot help themselves." And He too put me in an affluent area where no one needs Him. I go after the people and their children hoping they will rebel against rebellion and desire holiness and the companionship of God. Some seeds fall into good soil. To God alone be glory.

My earning till now is in that 52%, less than 2 dollars a day n 33 years old but I still have Jesus 😁

I needed to watch this so bad, I'm so caught up in trying to acquire material wealth that I'm losing sight of what's important 🤕

I attended the church he pastored. I grew up 5 minutes from Simi Valley and yes, it’s affluent, rich, crowded but good people there. Being gone for over 22 years, living in Redding, my wife and I moved back 2 years ago to care for my mom who passed away from cancer. It was a year I shall never forget, and if it weren’t for the Church At Rocky Peak, My wife and I would’ve struggled big time! Praise God for Pastor Chan; I am very much his age and feel the Lord pulling hard on my heart strings. I can’t give away enough to those who need it, and the more I give, for some reason, the more I want to give more and more. Right now, I am praying to find a 2000 square foot building to house food for 2100 people in my community. They were recently kicked out of the place they were renting; they can only afford $400.00 rent and so, now I am praying that the Lord opens the doors to a new facility.
