Unlike everybody else I've never even made it to high school let alone college, mainly because of my short term memory problem. But yet God gave me the gift of knowing how to drive and knowing somethings about and how to operate a smaller tractor or lawn mower tractor anyways. So I really wonder a lot nowadays with the way everything is now, if I should get My Drivers license and my own pickup truck and go out and do some lawn care for people, to earn a little bit of extra money for my family's small ranch needs and wants. I do feel a lot that god would want me to do something like that. 👍

I am 16 years old and in 10th grade. I feel pressure to find what my career will be since I know that these last 3 years of high school can go by fast. But I have been praying to God and I have faith that at some point he will show me what he called me to do since I was brought into this world.

An additional recommendation:

Volunteer at your local church to gain skills and find out what Gods call is for your life. I was very shy. When I volunteered at church, I learned to get comfortable greeting people. I later took on more responsibility and it helped me later when finding a job. I still volunteer but now I share this with youth in church who are confused about their career path or who don't have work experience.

Church is also full of people with different career backgrounds and experiences. So it's a good way to get access to counsel from those who (hopefully) are godly people and want the best for you.

God put on my heart to go into medicine when I was 7. I thought I wasn't smart enough for medicine so I tried to be a American Sign Language interpreter but that door closed. After going job to job, was honestly at a dead end. So the Lord spoke through my family and I went to medical assisting school. It was TOUGH for me, but by the grace of God he helped me through it. I have now been an MA for 9 years and continue to enjoy it. If God truly calls you to something and you are willing to listen and follow, don't be afraid.

I've wanted to be a writer since I was five and I'm about to get my own children's book series that teaches about the Beatitudes published!
I haven't gotten it published yet but it might be out sometime next year

I feel compelled by the Spirit to share a small bit of my life here. To whomever is reading this, I hope this blesses you.

I'm a bit in this very dilemma now. I left a well paying job to move to another country and want to start a job I like rather than keep doing what I used to do. I'm letting God lead the way. I took an intro class to my desired career after moving and most of my classmates have all gotten jobs, but I haven't yet. I think I needed to learn to trust in God, just like it says in the video. I have felt myself draw nearer to Him in my wait, and He has provided for my family's every need at just the right time. He is so good! I'm thankful that over time, He is teaching me to let go of the stress and anxiety of change and uncertainty. I don't know how long it will be before I am gainfully employed full-time, but I know it will be where He wants me to be as long as I listen for His guidance.
