Resident Evil 4 is the reason why I bought a GameCube. Another game I absolutely loved on the GC that you didn't mention was Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem. Excellent game!

The GameCube holds a special place for me. I remember walking into GameStop and asking about Metroid Prime having really no idea what it was all about. It was cheap so I picked it up, and to say I was blown away is an understatement. That game completely changed how I view video games. Atmosphere, art, music, immersive gameplay and storytelling, it doesn’t get any better. Hollow Knight did that recently for me too.

Johnny, what a trip through memory lane. I love the GameCube and its games. Evelyn laughed when you said you smoked when sailing across the seas, and that it was so relaxing. Your list of games are spot on and I had a feeling your number 1 was Phantasy Star Online.

I remember randomly finding Baten Kaitos Eternal Wings and Baten Kaitos Origins on GC 70% off, I had no idea what it was but I bought them and ended up loving it. Those two games are my top 2, I replay them all the time, the voice acting was amazing to me at the time despite some quality issues.

The most hours I put into gaming on the gamecube was super monkey ball 2, it was an absolute pleasure to play with friends as all the mini games were so much fun . At first it seemed that this was a children's game but soon the levels became very competitive, I would heartily recommend this to anyone who wants to play a challenging game that is so much fun to play on your own but gets five times better with friends around .

I really miss my gamecube from when I was younger, I even had the adaption that allows you to play GBA games. Playing Pokemon on my TV was mind blowing lmao.

Resident Evil 4 is still a great game today.
