Great overview! This looks like elements of Lightroom CC merged with iMovie/FinalCutX in an interesting mash-up. The UI looks like LRCC and the magnetic timeline looks a lot like Final Cut X. I wouldn't be surprised to see many of these elements slowly start to move into Premiere over time. This interface is particularly well suited for mobile touchscreens, which I know is a big push by Adobe. I think they see the future of desktop/laptop and their operating systems shrinking and are pushing hard to be on the devices of the future. Thanks as always, you always explain things in an understandable way while respecting your audience.

Wow that's really cool... I can definitely see myself using that for social videos. It would be nice to see some built in title animations and graphic animations (arrows etc) but I get that they're probably trying to promote stock purchases by making that nice and easy too. Just signed up for beta... definitely keen to see ow the iOS app functions and whether they've been able to implemnent all these features in there too.
