Best Video Editing App For iPhone and Android - Adobe Premiere Rush Tutorial

Adobe Premiere Rush is a free mobile and desktop video editing app for iPhone or Android. You can also use it on Mac or PC. (affiliate link)

The free version is limited in the number of exports. But you can always upgrade it for unlimited exports.

Adobe Premiere Rush also syncs with Adobe Cloud, so you can work on the same project on Mac or PC.

To get started, sign in to Adobe Premiere Rush for free.

Then, press plus to add media or record. You can import from camera roll, Dropbox, and several other locations.

You can also use sample media if you just want to test this out.

The app will create a sequence with the clips you choose. On the main page, you’ll see a preview window, a timeline, and icons for editing.

Changing Aspect ratio (16x9, 9x16, 1x1)
Re-ordering video clips
Trimming clips
Splitting clips
Adding effects and transitions
Adding graphics and text

Exporting

what I like on Adobe Premiere and Adobe Rush is that they have like the audio thing below the clip on the timeline which is good for jump cuts to determine the sound. Thanks for this

Good to know . I’ve never bothered with Adobe because they charge everything. Took me a few hours creating a document and then when I went to export it told me I had to pay. I was so angry 😠

Well done! Thank you. It was even peaceful to watch. I have my class voiced over and ready to go in Adobe Rush. The class is 50 minutes. I get it to the ready-to-export page and it gets to 12% and it crashes. What can I do?

I tried Rush multiple times since I already have an Adobe subscription and it has some sort of bug where it whitewashes my video during and after export. It makes the video completely unusable. I've looked for support on how to fix this issue and even after a year it doesn't seem to be resolved. So frustrating!

Is there a way to share the original project you’re working on from mobile? Say if you’ve created a project like on premiere pro and you can just send what you’re working on for someone else to work on it (providing they have the files).
