if anyones curious the ladenfrost effect is real. i do not know if it works under cold scenarious. what i do know is the with molten metals such as lead if you were to wet you hand and QUICKLY dip it into the molten lead you will be unscathed. i dont rember the scientific explanation but i belive has somthing to do at an atomic levels that liquid creates a barrier due to the extreme tempature difference
