Once I heard Sheikh Albaani’s students praising him and he (may Allah have mercy upon his soul) started to cry out of fear to be praised. Then students said to him: “Our sheikh, indeed we have learned from some many scholars and we found them as or below the level that people think of them. But in your case, we find that you are by far beyond all our expectations, even far more than you were described to us before we meet you personally. Indeed their descriptions have not made justice to who you truly are, may Allah protect and preserve you sheikh.”❤
