THE $30,000 AMAZON HOUSE.

What if I told you that you could buy a house on Amazon for just $30,000? You might think I'm joking, but I'm not. That's exactly what one TikToker did, and he documented his experience in a series of viral videos. In this video, I'm going to show you how he bought a tiny home on Amazon, what it looks like, and what challenges he faced along the way. Trust me, you don't want to miss this, so stick to the end of the video to see it all.

it only shows the building erecting. What about the housing permit, utility, electrical, water plumbing?

Video doesn't dive into all the extra expenses like electric hookup, sewage, and water. But a great concept for the right style of investor.

This looks like a scam. Why isn't there more footage of his home assembly? 99% of this video is stock footage and it is repetitive.

Home prices in the US are completely out of reach for most Americans.

This is perfect for someone with a very low income, or a person living off of disability.

We need to have housing readily available for ALL PEOPLE, and not just the upper-middle class and the wealthy.

Paying rent is wasted money.
$1, 200 X 12 = $14, 640
$1, 200 x 24 =
$29.28
Rentals have always been a form of slavery where the tenant works all month to maintain the luxuries of the property owners.
The end of rent slavery is near for many people.

Hardly the TikTokers achievement. He just bought it. The people who designed it are the real ones

If you already own a house with backyard in Miami, you can easily rent this for $1.5k/month 😂

If I just had a half acre of private property to put this house on. Wtf?

How durable is this in a hurricane, or tornado?
Some tents claim to be.

The problem with this kind of house is that local authorities forbid them. As I understand the minimum sq footage is 600 sq ft. The house also must be built on site and prefabs and mobil homes are not allowed.

"Modular homes are my jam – why settle for a normal house when you can build a LEGO fortress? Heard about a nutty billionaire who spent $3 billion on a New York place, thinking it was a mythical unicorn! It's like playing Monopoly with Monopoly money, ending up with the world's most expensive paperweight. Swiping right for penthouses costing as much as a gold-plated sub? That’s the dream! Real estate investing is a blindfolded roller coaster ride, praying not to crash into a pit of debt. And watching those real estate videos is like a Wall Street soap opera where every episode ends with your stocks tumbling like a sneeze-hit Jenga tower!"

I don’t understand how buying something off Amazon and assembling it yourself is “innovative” and “disruptive.”

the name AMAZON is enough to make me wonder

You still have to buy the land, pour a foundation, get permits, tie down, run utilities...cheaper to build traditionally given the SF.

Didn't show the gorgeous kitchen or talk about the R-value. But the roof is caulked in place at least!

Other stuff is not baked into the price. You can can't just set it down on the ground or even on some kind of piers for free. Further your site has to level or close to it so the building itself can be made level on a long term basis, concrete slab would be the preferred choice which will not be cheap or building some kind of foundation might be less expensive but still cost you considerable coin. You still need infrastructure, the land, permits etc. Figure on adding at least another 30k to the price excluding the land. You probably won;' be able to build anything close to most population centers because of zoning, so that leaves a rural plot where the land will be cheap and the zoning more accomodating but now the added expense of distance to food, services supplies, wear and tear on any vehicle you own all come into play. Not saying the idea isn't a solution, just that the extra expenses need to be accounted for when making such a decision or purchase.
