The real difference between 4 wheels and 3 wheels is 1 wheel.

I started 4 months ago. Your videos are very useful to me. I am 46 years old, I might try 3 wheels before 50, 😀

Hi Tiago, I think you have forgotten one of the most important differences: the kind of floor you are going to skate on. In my opinion, triskates are much more suitable for skating on a rugged floor like streets, whereas 4 wheels are better for smooth floors because they are more stable. If you want to do urban skate on your town's streets and pavements triskates are recommended. But it's true, they are a little more difficult to handle, so you must have a little experience.

Every time I watch your videos (during work) they make me want to go out to skate soon. Never lose your style, excellent channel.

As someone who just got back into the skating life last year, this was very helpful. Thank you!!

As someone who used to very casually skate the usual 4 x 80, it's great to know the difference in configurations!
Thanks for the simplified rundown and helping me get back into skating after a little break!

There in France you have the BEST inline community! Thanks to your videos I discovered Inline and I choose my first pair of real skates (I mean, I learned to slide on my old decathlon skates, and the move destroyed them)

Thanks for the passion you put in your videos Tiago! (And for the useful tips)

Love from italy!

Thanks for the great description! Getting back on the wheels after 20 years! Been thinking to get back for 2 years, but my partner said "More gear?". I was doubtful and stupid coz since Ice Skating last winter my passion has been burning and I should have done it earlier! cant wait, think i am headed for 3 wheels, basics are still in the bag ;) I was the skating queen back in the day!

I’ve skated for 11 years on aggressive four wheel skates, I’ve just bought a pair of tri wheel GC frames with 110mm wheels, being quite experienced when it comes to skating the tri-wheel was the best bet for me! I most definitely recommend going tri-wheel as it’s a smoother ride and a higher ride height overall!

I learned on a 100mm tri skate set up and am very happy with their performance. I was doing 15mph on day 4 which was fun but not safe as I couldn't really stop.

Very well thought out video, Tiago! In my opinion you touched most important points. Just switched to 3 wheels and it's kick ass but finding it much harder to slide than on my 4x80.

Great quick explanation. I've been blading for around 25 years and have decided to now try a TRI skate. Will research more. Thanks for explaining. 😃

Love these videos. Went back to blading recently after five years, and I'm still shaky but loving it! There aren't many skaters where I live- it's only me, so these videos make me feel like part of a community 😊 keep doing you

I am an experienced ice skater. And was looking for something that’s very forgiving on uneven urban surface. 3 wheel 110’s were perfect! Also if you’re a super beginner getting a back stopper is a must for any rollerblades you get

I started with the four-wheel skates, and I recently bought the tri skates. It's been hard to turn with them, and it was rough to do tricks with them. I am way more agile with four, but I do love the tri skates. They also make you taller and faster 🤪
