Taking the gloss off my acoustic guitar will really bring its tone to life, I was nervous about sanding off the sun burst stain this video is really helpful thank you

The two sides kind of remind me of when I go for an eye exam, and the doctor asks, "Which is better, this one....or this one?" And they always look identical. Ha! I appreciate the effort, though. The paint came off, so I believe you when you say the gloss did too. I'm going to definitely use this stuff to get rid of gloss on my kitchen cabinets that is driving me nuts. Thanks!

Couldnt see the gloss difference but the amount of paint on the rag was the tell tale item! Thanks!

Great video! We are repainting the trim in our house. My husband has repainted in the past and used only this product to prep. While it helped the new paint to adhere well, the trim had dings and imperfections for the first time it was painted so repainting over it only made them look worse. It is important to point out that this product will remove the gloss from the wood but will not remove any imperfections that are already there. In other words, if there are brush marks, paint runs or any other flaws, you will still need to sand! Thank you.

Just what I was looking for! I started remodeling (something that I never did before) and I bought a sander and it took me forever to remove the paint in a small cabinet and I wasn’t so sure to continue if I had to go through that again!
Thank you so much for sharing! ❤️

Just finished my kitchen cabinets using liquid sandpaper. I applied it to my oak cabinets with a sponge, and allowed it to sit until it dried. I then reapplied it two more times, until I could see that the gloss on the cabinets was fading. Following this process, I took a sanding block, and roughed up areas that appeared a bit glossy. I then proceeded to painted my cabinets, using Behr premium, water-based stain & ploy. The color I used was satin, espresso B6212.
Although the entire process was a lot of work, it was better than removing the cabinets and sanding. Following my cabinet makeover, I redid my claw foot, oak kitchen table using the same process, which only took me one afternoon. I'd recommend this product VS other time consuming methods.

This is perfect info for me to try. I’m going to refurbish a old dresser and I’ve been holding off cuz it’s so much sanding. Thanks so much for sharing and have a great blessed day.

Did you clean off the deglosser with a clean wet cloth? Does the paint adhere if you don’t?

Hi, so do you wipe on then wipe off immediately, or wipe on and leave on for 15 minutes then wipe off before applying primer. Little confused on process for this specific product. Im DIYing my kitchen and I wanted to use this, so I was thinking you apply this product in a circular motion with a rag THEN LET IT REMAIN ON CABINETS FOR 15 MINUTES THEN APPLY MY PRIMER., is this correct, or wipe off klean strip immediately? Can you please advise, thanks so much I appreciate your time

I just got this product to use on my kitchen cabinets, my question is do you have to paint immediately after applying the liquid sandpaper?

I just tried the product last night. Brilliant stuff and so easy to apply. It' awesome also that it doesn't have a horrible toxic smell. It doesn't stink up the house. I will put another coat on, clean and prime. Thanks for sharing your discovery. It's a major time and effort saver!

Would you clean it with another round of soap and warm water or would it be fine to just go over it with a wet rag? Refinishing cabinets is taking FOREVER lol. Thank you!
