I bought this album at age 13 in 1972 and I loved every track on it. Big ups to producer and composer extraordinaire Thom Bell for creating the hits for the Stylistics, Delfonics, Spinners, Intruders...that great Philly Sound.

Sadly, I lived this song and even though the memory still hurts all these years later, I simply cannot resist this beautiful tune.

My parents introduced me to the Stylistics around 1975 when I was 13 years old and we even saw them at Cedar Gardens in Trenton interestingly this being a nice memory leading up to Mother’s Day.

Graduating from high school in 1971 when this song came out, I was attracted to a young lady who barely knew I was alive. This song was constantly on my playlist then, just as it is now!

I think I first heard this song about 30 years ago when I was very young. It came out over a decade before I was even born. This song is timeless and never gets old even after all of these years.

Such a beautiful song. Russell again singing and recordingbthis...with double cutting and singing a duet with himself...long with Thom Bell' , Linda Creed, Raymond Johnson, and few others doing backup. 👏👏👏'

Beautiful duet segment with Russell Thompkins Jr. Singing with Airrion Love! This was one of only two Stylistics songs from the Bell/Creed years with Love as co-lead with Thompkins, the other being 'You Make Me Feel Brand New' featuring Love doing solo segments interspersed with Thompkins classic stunning Falsetto solo performance.
