Barriss Did WHAT After Order 66?!

I can't believe they actually fufilled this prophecy of Barriss Offee from Legends and the Medstar Duology of Novels in the expanded universe.

In the episode the fate of hate we see New Republic Representatives come to the planet where Morgan is ruling yet they're all killed you would think if they haven't reported in something suspicious might have happened and send someone to investigate probably explains why Ahsoka on the planet in the first place and how the forest was burnt down a connection to the mandalorian..

Why were people expecting Vader to have a huge role. We understand the history with Barris and anakin but that’s in the past. Anakin is gone

Idk if anyone agrees but, I felt like Barriss should have been the Inquisitor that Ahsoka killed in tales of the Jedi, or the Ahsoka show.
It would have given a more dramatic reunion, plus would have given a more of a impact to us and the character who killed her, because we knew these two characters together in the clone wars and how much they where friends back than.
I always had that in my mind before all these new shows, and now, idk how to think about it.
But hey, does anyone agree?

I couldn’t believe it! We finally know what happened to Barriss Offee after the clone wars. But it really took too long to do anything with the character I feel like.

Honestly the whole bariss arc was really underwhelming for me. We wanted a showdown with her and vader or ahsoka yet they chose the easy way out and just 'killed' her off in the dumbest way or at least left her fate on another cliffhanger that we probably wont get an answer to for years

I was personally going into 'Tales of the Empire' hoping to see 3 main things, Thrawn make a point, Grievous butcher some Witches (Witch included one with 100/10 animated sickles) and Vader gutting Barris, and I go the first 2, but as a whole I'm not a crazy fan of 'Tales of the Empire' as I am for 'Tales of the Jedi'. But moving on, I want 'Tales of the CIS' and or 'Tales of the Sith' these could finally give us some light shined on characters like Grievous, young Sidious, Plaguios, etc

The final episode takes place around 5 and 1BBY during Star Wars Rebels périod because we know that the empire is looking after children like inquisitors did at the time of Rebels (and especially season 2)

Tales of the Empire did not reach the quality of Tales of the Jedi at all. I think Barriss storyline specifically was not well handeled. I like Barriss' character, especially in Legends, so this was disapointing. I also thought Vader would be having a bigger role in this, he was basically just a clickbait for the teasers.
