I dropped my phone in the toilet once and just used soap and water to clean it like you would a dish. No problems

Does the type of water impact it? I dropped mine (14 pro) in the pool and it was submerged 3.5ft deep for 19 seconds it is toast now 😢 Glad yours was not damaged!
