Use water bags as weights! The rocking from the ship will workout muscles you don’t typically work on! Hopefully this helps!

The 325 ft processor I was on the food was great and it was 8 on 8 off for three months off the coast of Oregon and with having 7 years in the Navy it was easy to do.

I worked on a boat out of Monterey, CA. pulling a net. We fished from Big Sur to San Francisco. It was fun

I was in the Gulf of Mexico and for the most part the food was decent.... we had one guy that wouldn't run the galley in anything higher than 4ft seas. Sandwiches for the entire month of September. It sucked....

Do a video on your emergency equipment. Lifeboats, food/water rations, life suits, GPS locators ect ect.
Or tell a story about your most scariest experience out at sea. Bad weather, boat engine breaks down, damage to the boat itself..anything like that would be interesting

When I was line men. We would be out for 1-3 weeks at a time. While we were in a different state we meet up with a crew from the same company that was out for 6 months + and their wives were driving across country to see them. I ended up leaving that job because I didn’t want to be away from my dad that was sick. Being away from home for long times sucks

As a fellow merchant mariner I completely agree with what you’re saying. What watch rotation do they have you on? I’m on an ATB rn and I’m on a 12 on/12 off rotation. Hope your not on 6s cuz that sucks

Mate, I'd love to give this a whirl. Sounds challenging but decent. Keep safe out there, brother.
