I had this done without anesthesia, I was fully awake and without any medication and my gag reflex was like perma-triggered for the entire 10 minutes, I recommend not doing what I did and take the soft anesthesia drug thing

On the face of it, it seems less risky than endoscopy, but what happens when the stomach acid and bile eat the outer covering? Or the battery/ies leak? I imagine it's not designed to be in the body for long periods.

This procedure has been around a couple years.I had asked my doc about it, as a colonoscopy was out of the question.He said yes, it could be done, but the procedure im my area would be the Cleveland clinic.. not my local hospital. In other words...nothing new here.
