The fact all of them came to see GF and BF suffer really does show they had no chance in leaving Mario’s game alive, wether they beat the head honcho or not. They stood no chance against all of the demons this beast conjured.

Ngl the fact that these lyrics actually sound like a brutal game over/bad ending for a mario game is genius along ith the references and i always seen it like this

Dont look back theres nothing left - how you couldnt walk go back to previous levels or the main level in the first mario bros

"You tried yet you failed, to save her"
- getting a game over in any mario game and how mario fails to save peach

"Claws upon your heart, rip and tear your soul apart."

- obviously, a heavy feeling guilt and emotion that mario failed to save the love of his life and how he gets killed by enemies

"Youve lost the game its all the same. When you stand before a god"

-alluding to a game over again and how most of the mainline 2d mario games have the sqme story with peach getting captured all the time. And the "god" could easily be preferred to as bowser as he literally keeps coming back no matter how he's defeated or killed

So has litteraly anyone else noticed that the lines "Come now take the step" and "Don't look back theres nothing left" is a reference to how in the original super mario bros game when you go forward in the level you can't go back?

I think this is the first time I’ve ever listened to a fnf song with actual lyrics. We need more songs with lyrics that blends in perfectly like this one.
(Edit: why did this get popular? Also for clarification, I forgot that most of the (modded) songs has lyrics in them. I only came back to the fnf community because of this mod alone, so I am not up to date with the current things happening in the community.)
