The road has not been easy for “Dance Mom’s” star Abby Lee Miller. After completing her prison sentence last year, the famed dance instructor was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma. Pressley was definitely set up with this solo. The costume wasn’t flattering and the scissors were so dangerous I felt so bad watching her dance this solo. I understand what Abby is saying, however, the belittling and body shaming a 12 year old child is absolutely disgusting. I don’t like Ashlee but I loved how much she stood up against Abby for her child the same as Joanne. Abby learned nothing from the first groups she had after every dancer cut her off. Yea Pressley didn’t have great technique but she was still a good dancer. She had okay technique and her performance and musicality was AMAZING. That’s what makes her a good dancer she can perform and she still has some technique.

6:21 Presley’s Scissor hands solo were one of the most dangerous solo’s because it can poke her eye’s or cause even more damage’s the turns and the scissors were real so thats even more dangerous.

I get why abby makes certain corrections, but when she starts to critique a child on things which they can’t change, like their body and features, it’s just disgusting and pointless. She can yell and scream what she doesn’t like about them as much as she wants but they can’t change those things, all she’s doing is giving kids complexes and mental health issues by doing that.

The producers made Abby give Presleys this solo. Abby said she normally wouldn’t give scissors hand solo to a girl. She said she would do it in a big production number with the boy.

the way Abby body shamed her was so bad like I get that Abby wants the best for her students but body shaming is just messed up because you can see the potential in her eyes and how she wants to prove to Abby that she is a good dancer and yes she is a good dancer I just wish Abby didn’t body shaming her and would never again to anyone else

Personally the parents all knew how abby was so they put there children into these situations, these "scissors" arent dangerous as they are fake, i dont agree with what abby says but i think she says things to try and make the kids try harder and improve, i dont think it was about covering up her child i think its about hiding the technical issues she has infront of a audenice, personally i dont think youd want to be dressing up your daughter on a tv show where anyone could be watching honestly

I also have very curly hair so I have the little bits sticking up everywhere. It's really annoying, and I have to continually use products to smooth it out, which I dont like using. Nothing else can be done, though
