The new season of Dance Moms follows Abby as she rebuilds her dance company while battling the after-effects of cancer that has left her confined to a wheelchair. I like how the kids in Season 8 can talk and voice their feelings more than earlier seasons of Dance Moms (if that makes a lot of sense)—but them fighting makes me appreciate Season 1-7 much more than Season 8 as a whole tbh.

Sarah never got the recognition she really deserved - she is an I N C R E D I B L E dancer. Down to her fingertips a performer. Even in these hallway improv vibey moments. This clip isn’t centered around her, but she stands out in every shot she dances in.

It’s so strange watching these clips compared to the OGs - they never had issues with each other, the drama between these kids is horrible, those poor things.

I’ll never stop praising this group of girls for confronting any issues they had with each other. The girls were always open and honest with how they feel and that’s more than what most adults could do. Granted we do have to give them grace because they’re children and they’re still learning about accountability etc. it was nice to see them openly express themselves

This group acts so different than the season 1-7 groups because these girls arnt really that good of friends and didnt know each other before the show. It makes such a different vibe to the group. I miss the group of girls that would do anything for each other

Gia should’ve learned how to take accountability instead of blaming everyone else. You should know your counts before you hit the stage, not when you’re about to go perform. But at the end of the day, they’re kids so you can’t really be too upset about how they handle situations.

And these cat fights are the precise reason why Brady was such an important part of the team personality-wise. (Of course, he was also tremendously important as a dancer because he's very talented.) He tried to keep the peace and break up cat fights before they got out of hand. Brady and Hannah were hands-down the sweetest in S8.
